An abridgment, printed from a manuscript in the Jefferson papers deposited in the Department of state (now deposited in the Library of Congress) The Library of Congress possesses a copy of the original report of 28th January, 1791 "(a few copies of which were printed off for the members of Cabinet, and called in again, by a sudden order of Council)" cf. Introd
The original report, including appendices A-D, was "reprinted by order of the Society of ship-owners of Great Britain. 1806," and incorporated in their "Collection of interesting and important reports and papers on the navigation and trade of Great Britain, Ireland, and the British colonies in the West Indies and America ... 1807."
