The collection was originally complete in 4 vols., with title reading: "... jusqu'à l'année 1812, inclusivement," the 4th "and last" vol. containing the general index. In 1815 a 5th vol. was added with title reading: "... jusqu'à la dissolution du dit gouvernement ..." and "Index ... aux deuxième et troisième parties du tome introductoire et au tome 5." In 1816 appeared the "Supplément au Recueil de décrets ... de Napoléon Bonaparte ... Contenant tout ce qui s'est passé en France pendant sa
dernière usurpation en 1815 ..." In the same year the editor's "Recueil des manifests, proclamations, discours, décrets &c. &c. &c. de Napoléon Buonaparté ... En trois parties," London, 1810-11, called "tome introductoire" in the index of the 5th vol., the "Recueil de décrets [etc.]" and the "Supplément [etc.]" were combined in one collection of 7 vols., with general t.-p.: "Cours politique et diplomatique de Napoléon Bonaparte ... ou, Recueil de traités, actes, mémoires, décrets ... &c.
depuis mai 1796, jusqu'à la seconde abdication de Bonaparte ..." the "Recueil de décrets [etc.]" forming v. 2-6 of that collection.
